I just enjoy seeing everyday people who can be fixed with chiropractic care."
Dr. Anna Clausen

Dr. Anna Clausen will be practicing in our office on Friday’s and Saturday mornings. Dr. Clausen completed her undergraduate studies at North Iowa Area Community College and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2002. She started practicing in an established clinic in Northern Iowa as an associate doctor. After 1 ½ years, Dr. Clausen opened Clausen Chiropractic in her hometown Sheffield, Iowa.
She decided to become a chiropractor after seeing how chiropractic care was able to help her own family, especially her mother. Dr. Clausen states “After I experienced the powerful benefits of chiropractic myself (the daily headaches I had been suffering from for years following a car accident were gone after one chiropractic adjustment), I knew that I wanted to provide others with the benefits of chiropractic!”

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a healthcare system that releases a serious stress from your body; the subluxation. A subluxation is often referred to as a misalignment in the frame of your body that can affect your nervous system. The Chiropractor adjusts those spots in your body to get your nervous system functioning properly and in return you feel better and live healthier.
How do we get Subluxations?
Stress, trauma, and injury are three main things that cause our spines to become out of alignment. When we get stressed our muscles tend to tense up and pull our bones in directions that they shouldn’t be in, causing pain or discomfort. A trauma can be an automobile accident or a slip and fall. We injure ourselves everyday with twisting, wrong repetitive motions, lifting things, or even just wear and tear of daily living.
Why get adjusted?
Chiropractic care is a more natural way to help your body to maintain its proper function of all nervous systems. Keeping your body in alignment helps you live a more healthy and comfortable lifestyle. The first step to feeling better is just to get here...then we’ll do the rest.
